Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end, played for 17 seasons with the National Football League. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends of all time and has the NFL record for having the highest number of receiving yards of every tight end. Gonzalez is also ranked third in all time for the amount of receiving yards.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at FOX's studio. Gonzalez, who has been with FOX NFL KICKOFF for the past year, is host of the program. The show is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez was released by the Falcons on March 15 2013, for a deal of $14 million for two years. This was in spite of his claims that he was retiring at the end of the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, as did Gonzalez (37 an age) played last season as the NFL's leading receiver.
